FOOD BUYER ยท SELLING EVENT

Build An Ant Empire Food Buyer Guide

The Food Buyer is a visiting selling opportunity. It is not the same as the normal merchant multiplier that changes during play. Prepare food, watch the event and compare the rate before selling.

ARRIVAL

When Does the Food Buyer Visit?

The Food Buyer is a visit event. The exact arrival interval should be taken from an active server notice or the buyer appearing in-game rather than from the normal sell station's changing price.

A multiplier change at the usual merchant does not mean the Food Buyer arrived. Keep these two sale systems separate while you wait.

PREPARATION

What to Do Before the Visit

The buyer is most useful when your nest has Food ready. Continue running good ants, and avoid spending all your Cash just before an attractive ant offer appears.

  1. Improve the productivity of equipped ants with Food Gain, levels and movement speed.
  2. Build a Food stockpile while watching the event area or game notifications.
  3. When the Food Buyer arrives, read the sale rate shown by the buyer.
  4. Compare it with the ordinary merchant multiplier before selling a large batch.
  5. Use the resulting Cash on the current colony bottleneck.
COMPARISON

Food Buyer vs Normal Merchant

Normal merchant: Food converts to Cash at a changing multiplier. Waiting through a weak 0.x multiplier can improve a large sale.

Food Buyer: a separate event selling option. Check the live rate and duration of the visit.

Fixed Price: a paid option for predictable sale value; read its live purchase terms. Codes: temporary Cash boosts should be redeemed when your colony can make use of them.

FAQ

Common Food Buyer Questions

Is there a universal minute timer? Plan around the active server's notices, not a guessed fixed schedule.

Do I stop generating Food? No. Keep the colony productive while waiting.

Should I always wait? Not if selling now lets you buy a rare offer or unlock an important production upgrade.

Is this the Strawberry King? No. That event involves Strawberry Coins and a wheel, not ordinary Food sales.
