Build An Ant Empire Mutations Guide
Mutations are modifiers applied to ants through Potions or event effects. Current gameplay confirms several named mutations and shows that they can dramatically change production. Starlight is explicitly shown as a 5x multiplier; other mutation values stay unlisted until the live stat panel is captured clearly.

HOW TO USE THEM
Mutation Strategy
Use strong potions on strong workers
A multiplier scales the ant you apply it to, so late-game ants create more absolute value.
Check before applying
Potions are targeted items. Verify the selected ant so you do not waste a rare mutation on the wrong worker.
Events can matter
Candy Rain and alien-style events show that mutations are not limited to one permanent shop path.
Do not confuse rarity with mutation
A mutation modifies an ant; it is separate from the ant's base rarity tier.
